GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP
Global citizenship is the idea that people are part of the world’s community and their actions contribute to building up the world’s values and practices. In this vein, Global Citizenship Education (“GCE”) presents a form of civic learning that seeks to involve and educate students in projects that address global social, political, economic and environmental issues.
Through GCE, students will develop their global consciousness, which is their moral and ethical understanding of global issues, as well as their global competencies, which as the skills that would enable students to compete and participate in the global market.
